Finalmente trovo un senso al nascere dell’anima
\nIn questo universo dolce e terribile,
\nIo che ho sentito il cuore affamato della terra
\nAnelare, oltre il cielo, ai piedi di Krishna.
\nHo visto la bellezza di occhi immortali
\nE udito la passione del flauto dell’Amante,\u2028E conosciuto la meraviglia di un’estasi immortale
\nE il dolore nel mio cuore per sempre muto.
\nSempre pi\u00f9 vicina si fa la musica,
\nLa vita ha un brivido di strana felicit\u00e0;\u2028Tutta la natura \u00e8 un’ampia pausa d’amore
\nNella speranza di toccare, afferrare, essere il suo Signore.
\nSolo per questo istante sono esistite le et\u00e0 trascorse;

I have seen the beauty of immortal eyes,<\/span><\/em>
\n And heard the passion of the Lover’s flute,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

And known a deathless ecstasy’s surprise<\/span><\/em>
\n And sorrow in my heart for ever mute.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Nearer and nearer now the music draws,<\/span><\/em>
\n Life shudders with a strange felicity;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

All Nature is a wide enamoured pause<\/span><\/em>
\n Hoping her lord to touch, to clasp, to be.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

For this one moment lived the ages past;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The world now throbs fulfilled in me at last.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
