Questi fili sono incolori, perfetti nelle loro qualit\u00e0 di dirittura, forza ed eguaglianza.\u00a0Questa corda, passando come fa per ogni dove, \u00e8 soggetta a strani accidenti.\u00a0Molto spesso un filo si impiglia e rimane attaccato o forse solo violentemente strappato\u00a0dalla sua retta via. Per lungo tempo allora \u00e8 scompigliato e scompiglia il tutto. Talvolta uno di\u00a0essi viene insudiciato o sporcato da un certo colore cos\u00ec la macchia non solo si propaga oltre il\u00a0punto contaminato, ma si comunica anche agli altri fili. Rammenta che i fili sono viventi &#8211;\u00a0sono come fili elettrici, anzi di pi\u00f9, sono simili a nervi vibranti. Quanto lontano pu\u00f2 esser\u00a0allora propagata la macchia e comunicato il violento strappo! Ma alla fine i lunghi capi, i fili\u00a0viventi che nella loro ininterrotta continuit\u00e0 formano l\u2019individuo, passano dall\u2019ombra allo\u00a0splendore. Allora i fili non rimangono pi\u00f9 incolori, ma d\u2019oro. Ancora una volta stanno\u00a0insieme in modo regolare, ancora una volta l\u2019armonia \u00e8 ristabilita tra loro e da quell\u2019armonia\u00a0interna \u00e8 percepita un\u2019armonia ancora pi\u00f9 grande.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mabel Collins (La Luce sul Sentiero)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">* * *<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Consider with me that the individual existence is a rope which stretches from the\u00a0infinite to the infinite, and has no end and no commencement, neither is it capable of\u00a0being broken. This rope is formed of innumerable fine threads, which, lying closely\u00a0together, form its thickness. These threads are colourless, are perfect in their qualities of\u00a0straightness, strength, and levelness. This rope, passing as it does through all places,\u00a0suffers strange accidents. Very often a thread is caught and becomes attached, or\u00a0perhaps is only violently pulled away from its even way. Then for a great time it is\u00a0disordered and it disorders the whole. Sometimes one is stained with dirt or with color,\u00a0and not only does the stain run on further than the spot of contact, but it discolors\u00a0others of the threads. And remember that the threads are living\u2014are like electric wires;\u00a0more, are like quivering nerves. How far, then, must the stain, the drag awry, be\u00a0communicated! But eventually the long strands, the living threads which in their\u00a0unbroken continuity form the individual, pass out of the shadow into the shine. Then\u00a0the threads are no longer colorless, but golden; once more they lie together level.
