Perch\u00e9 litighiamo, ci azzuffiamo, persino ci insultiamo, quando abbiamo diversit\u00e0 di opinioni?
\nPerch\u00e9 semplicemente non accettiamo che l\u2019altro possa pensarla diversamente da noi?
\n<\/strong>Eppure non ci verrebbe mai in mente di prendercela con il nostro interlocutore se, di fronte ad un cielo azzurro, egli affermasse che la volta celeste \u00e8 gialla.
\nSemplicemente ne dedurremmo che egli non \u00e8 in grado di vedere i colori in modo regolare e non insisteremmo ulteriormente.<\/p>\n
Quando siamo assolutamente certi<\/em> della verit\u00e0, infatti, che senso avrebbe imporla all\u2019altro?<\/strong><\/p>\n
Se le mie percezioni sono corrette e i miei sensi sani so di avere di fronte delle certezze su cui \u00e8 superfluo insistere. Non sentiamo mai il bisogno di imporre la correttezza delle nostre percezioni del mondo fisico agli altri.\u00a0Solo quando iniziano le interpretazioni<\/em> della realt\u00e0<\/strong> allora le opinioni cominciano a far impallidire le certezze.<\/p>\n
Allora sentiamo di voler <\/em><\/strong>avere ragione.<\/p>\n
Quando non<\/em> abbiamo una certezza assoluta,<\/em> vogliamo<\/em> aver ragione.
\nChiamiamo Dio con nomi diversi e uccidiamo chi lo invoca con un altro nome.
\nVogliamo giungere alle stesse mete ma condanniamo senza appello chi percorre sentieri diversi per raggiungerle.<\/strong><\/p>\n
In realt\u00e0 potremo evolvere pienamente come esseri umani solo se riusciremo a realizzare in noi un\u2019assoluta tolleranza interiore per qualsiasi opinione, <\/em>ben sapendo che ogni verit\u00e0 conseguita da ciascun essere umano rappresenta la misura del suo livello evolutivo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intorno ad ogni oggetto ci sono due ragionamenti contrapposti.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Why do we argue, fight, and even insult each other when we have different opinions?<\/span><\/p>\n
Why can’t we simply accept that others may think differently from us?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
Yet it would never occur to us to take it out on our interlocutor if, looking up at a blue sky, someone said that the sky was yellow.<\/span><\/p>\n
We would simply conclude that they are unable to see colours properly and would not insist further.<\/span><\/p>\n
When we are absolutely certain<\/i> of the truth, what sense would it make to impose it on others?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
If my perceptions are correct and my senses are sound, I know that I am faced with certainties that are superfluous to insist on. We never feel the need to impose the correctness of our perceptions of the physical world on others. Only when the interpretations<\/i> of reality<\/b> begin, do opinions begin to overshadow certainties.<\/span><\/p>\n
Then we feel the need to <\/i><\/b>be right.<\/span><\/p>\n
When we do not have absolute certainty, we want<\/em> to be right.<\/span><\/p>\n
We call God by different names and kill those who invoke him by another name.<\/span><\/p>\n
We want to achieve the same goals but condemn without appeal those who take different paths to achieve them.<\/span><\/p>\n
In reality, we can only evolve fully as human beings if we manage to achieve within ourselves absolute inner tolerance for all opinions, <\/i>knowing very well that every truth attained by each human being represents the measure of her or his level of evolution.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
