La globalizzazione ha un solo vero retroscena: la creazione di un \u2018pensiero unico\u2019.
L\u2019informazione addomesticata ad opera del potere economico-politico dominante sta prendendo piede ormai non solo negli USA, da dove scrivo, ma a livello mondiale.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Le notizie diffuse dal circo mediatico sono sempre di pi\u00f9 manipolate e viziate dalla spettacolarizzazione, di fatto prioritaria rispetto ai contenuti delle notizie.
L\u2019alterazione delle informazioni \u00e8 particolarmente evidente se consideriamo che le agenzie internazionali dalle quali provengono i lanci delle notizie sono poche ed affiancate da vere e proprie agenzie di propaganda.
Aspettarsi dai telegiornali una reale verifica delle fonti \u00e8 una vera e propria utopia. Il dilagare della notizia-spettacolo, del voyeurismo morboso, distoglie l\u2019attenzione dai reali problemi della gente, mentre i fatti occultati \u2013 ad esempio le vere ragioni all\u2019origine di guerre e miserie – non vengono approfonditi.
Siamo di fronte ad un impoverimento culturale globalizzato, teso ad appiattire ogni pensiero che possa mettere in dubbio le idee-guida dei poteri forti che controllano i media.

Le immagini trasmesse hanno finalit\u00e0 chiaramente manipolative, tendono a generare emozioni che ci distolgono dal domandarci quali siano le vere cause delle sofferenze cui assistiamo. Non a caso i fatti di sangue che hanno come vittime bambini occupano spazi sempre maggiori all\u2019interno dei telegiornali.
Notizie amplificate ed altre ignorate, un oltraggio alla nostra intelligenza e soprattutto alla nostra libert\u00e0 di decidere quale posizione prendere, dato che, in modo pi\u00f9 o meno sottile, le posizioni sono tutte gi\u00e0 preconfezionate.
Cos\u00ec l\u2019informazione globalizzata \u00e8 finalizzata al consolidarsi del \u2018pensiero unico\u2019 il cui scopo \u00e8 quello di rendere difficile – se non impossibile \u2013 la comprensione di ci\u00f2 che sta dietro gli accadimenti del nostro tempo, dalle guerre \u2018preventive\u2019 alla fame \u2018inevitabile\u2019, dalle fantomatiche pandemie alle strategie degli opposti estremismi, dal terrorismo allo \u2018scontro di civilt\u00e0\u2019.
E se tentiamo timidamente di mettere in dubbio il \u2018pensiero unico\u2019? Chi \u00e8 contrario alla guerra viene tacciato di \u2018estremismo radicale\u2019 e chi mette in dubbio la legittimit\u00e0 della tortura diventa automaticamente \u2018antiamericano\u2019.
Eppure la Storia ha ampiamente dimostrato che ogni volta che si \u00e8 cercato di indirizzare il pensiero dei popoli in una certa direzione sono nati dei mostri.
Il nostro passato \u00e8 lastricato di idee negate, di pensieri vietati, di \u2018verit\u00e0 di Stato\u2019 e ci\u00f2 non ha mai prodotto risultati positivi. Le idee proibite si sono sempre pi\u00f9 fortemente radicate, tanto da far s\u00ec che i loro fautori si sentissero dei perseguitati, dei martiri. Quante vittime hanno provocato le ideologie represse e negate, quelle stesse da cui sono nati gli integralismi e gli estremismi che ancora oggi insanguinano il mondo?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
In realt\u00e0 lo Zeitgeist, lo Spirito del Tempo, ha sempre prodotto dei pensieri dominanti, delle concezioni assimilabili senza sforzo dalle masse; quante persone sono riuscite a mettere in questione gli ideali della propria epoca? Spesso solo dopo decenni ci si rende conto della profonda fallacia di certe ideologie contemporanee.
Se il dubitare cartesiano fa parte dell\u2019autentico retaggio culturale dell\u2019occidente, viene da chiedersi il motivo del dilagare del \u2018politically correct\u2019 o di ideologie \u2018vere per definizione\u2019 visto che oggi gli strumenti per poter imparare a comprendere meglio se stessi ed il mondo dovrebbero essere a disposizione di tutti.
Ma quanto li sappiamo usare questi strumenti?
Fin da bambini il nostro primo sforzo \u00e8 quello di apprendere e anche chi nasce con una disposizione sportiva o artistica, dovr\u00e0 tuttavia faticosamente dedicarsi all\u2019esercizio ed allo studio della propria disciplina per anni. Pertanto \u00e8 difficile poter ritenere di saper fare qualcosa senza averla prima imparata.
Eppure c\u2019\u00e8 una attivit\u00e0 che reputiamo di saper usare alla perfezione senza averla mai di fatto imparata. Mi riferisco all\u2019attivit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 immediata ed intima, che ha, peraltro, i maggiori effetti su tutta la nostra esistenza: il pensiero. Eh gi\u00e0, perch\u00e9 nessuno ci ha mai davvero insegnato ad usarlo questo strumento con cui gestiamo tutta la nostra vita.
Ci \u00e8 mai venuto in mente di chiederci veramente perch\u00e9 siamo di destra o di sinistra, di quella o quell\u2019altra squadra di calcio, o perch\u00e9 abbiamo fatto tale o tal\u2019altra scelta professionale? Potremo rispondere che \u00e8 per via degli orientamenti della nostra famiglia o dei nostri amici, o magari \u2013 al contrario – per reazione a quelli. Ma perch\u00e9 in noi c\u2019\u00e8 stata adesione a certi modelli mentre in altre persone a noi vicine ha, invece, prevalso la reazione? Chi ci ha insegnato ad usare lo strumento con cui abbiamo portato a coscienza noi stessi ed il mondo, e preso poi quelle decisioni che hanno di fatto modificato il nostro destino?
E non si dica che il pensiero non c\u2019\u00e8 bisogno di impararlo dato che \u00e8 gi\u00e0 bell\u2019e pronto dentro la nostra testa, perch\u00e9 allora dentro la propria testa non ci si \u00e8 mai gettato uno sguardo!
Se persino le cose pi\u00f9 elementari dobbiamo apprenderle con fatica perch\u00e9 mai lo strumento da cui dipende la nostra coscienza e le nostre scelte nella vita, quello no, non ci sarebbe bisogno di studiarlo?
Se usiamo male i nostri strumenti di lavoro, sicuramente danneggiamo noi stessi e gli altri. Come possiamo allora credere che il principale strumento mediante il quale abbiamo una immagine di noi stessi e prendiamo le nostre decisioni, non abbia bisogno di apprendimento?
Cerchiamo allora di imparare ad usarlo, questo pensiero, in modo da smascherare le opinioni preconfezionate che ci vengono quotidianamente proposte dalla televisione – la peggiore tra i \u2018cattivi maestri\u2019 \u2013 e sapremo non solo cogliere il senso della nostra vita, ma anche riconoscere i retroscena di quelle \u2018false verit\u00e0\u2019 che ci inoculano idee che non ci appartengono.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
GLOBAL \u201cGROUPTHINK\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Globalization only has one true, hidden agenda: the creation of a \u201cgroupthink\u201d mentality, extended to society as a whole. The watereddown information promoted by the socio-economic powers-that-be is not only taking over the USA, where I\u2019m writing from, but is becoming an international trend. The media circus manipulates and warps news for the sake of entertainment, which has priority over the actual news content. The distortion of information is especially evident if we consider that the number of international news agencies promoting the stories is limited, and that they are being essentially \u201cchaperoned\u201d by veritable propaganda machines. Expecting television broadcasters to verify their news stories\u2019 sources is utopic wishful thinking. Promoting news mainly for the sake of spectacle and morbid voyeurism distracts one\u2019s attention from humanity\u2019s real problems, while concealed news \u2013 for instance, the real reasons behind the origins of wars and poverty \u2013 are never properly probed into. We are faced by a global form of cultural impoverishment, aiming to dumb down all forms of thought that may question the basic groupthink of the powers controlling the media. The images aired clearly aim to manipulate, tending to feed on emotions that distract us from pondering the true causes of the suffering we witness. It\u2019s no coincidence that gruesome stories with children as their prime victims have the lion\u2019s share of the broadcasts on TV. Some news are amplified while others are ignored – this is an insult to our intelligence and especially, our freedom to choose a personal perspective seeing as, in a more or less subtle way, that perspective has already been pre-disposed for us. And so it is that globalized information is finalized towards establishing a \u201cgroupthink\u201d mentality, with the aim of making it difficult \u2013 if not impossibile \u2013 to understand what\u2019s behind the events of our time, from \u201cpreventive\u201d wars to \u201cinevitable\u201d famine, from imaginary pandemic diseases to strategies of opposing extremisms, from terrorism to clashes of civilization. What if we timidly attempted to question this \u201cgroupthink\u201d pattern? Those against war are branded as embracing \u201cradical extremism\u201d, while others who question the legitimacy of torture will be automatically labelled \u201canti-American\u201d. <\/em>
Yet history has often shown that ideological monstrosities have been spawned from any attempt to forcefully channel a population towards a given direction. Our past is paved with denied ideals, banned thought, \u201cstate truths\u201d, and this has never resulted in anything positive. Forbidden ideas have grown stronger roots, to a point that their begetters have ended up feeling persecuted, like martyrs. How many victims have suffered at the hands of repressed ideologies, those same ideologies that extremism and radicalismspring from, bloodying the world even today? <\/em>
In actual fact the Zeitgeist, the Spirit of the Times, has always produced a dominant thought, concepts that can be easily and effortlessly assimilated by the masses. How many people actually manage to question the ideals of their epoch? It is often only decades later that one can begin to see the profound fallacies of contemporary ideologies. <\/em>
If Cartesian doubt is truly at the root of Western cultural heritage, it\u2019s difficult not to ask oneself why \u201cpolitically correct\u201d thought or ideologies that are \u201ctrue by definition\u201d have become so widespread, since the tools used to truly understand oneself and the world should in theory be within everyone\u2019s reach. But how well do we actually know how to make use of such tools? <\/em>
Since childhood, our first efforts involve those applied to learning things. <\/em>
Even those who are born with a natural inclination towards sports or the arts, will have to commit themselves to exercising and studying their chosen discipline for years. It\u2019s therefore difficult to claim true competence in a given area without having learnt the ropes first. Yet, there\u2019s one activity we\u2019re persuaded we know the mechanics of perfectly, without ever having acquired them first. I\u2019m referring to the most immediate and intimate of actions, which furthermore has the greatest effect on our entire existence: thinking. That\u2019s right, no one has ever really taught us how to use this instrument, which no less runs our whole life. <\/em>
Have we ever thought about asking ourselves why we\u2019re right-wing or left-wing, or the reasons for rooting for this or that soccer team, or even why we have chosen a given profession? We could say it\u2019s due to our family\u2019s or friends\u2019 influences, or perhaps, on the contrary, as a reaction against these. But why did we have a tendancy towards conforming, while others may on the other hand have been prompted by a reaction against these influences? Has anyone ever taught us how to use the very instrument that heightens our awareness of ourselves and the world, making us take specific decisions that shape our fate? <\/em>
Let\u2019s not even suggest there\u2019s no need to learn such a skill, or that thought is already perfect and ready for use inside our heads! This would be likely to mean we have never bothered to really acquaint ourselves with our minds. If even the most elementary of tasks requires hard work, why on earth would an instrument that our conscience and life decisions depend upon require no study at all? <\/em>
If we don\u2019t use our working instruments well, surely we damage ourselves and others. How can we be persuaded that the first means by which we form an image of ourselves and take decisions, doesn\u2019t require learning? <\/em>
From this time forth, let us therefore learn how to make the best use of thought, applying our thinking skills to unmasking the pre-packaged opinions we are spoon-fed by television on a daily basis – this being the worst culprit among those \u201cbad teachers\u201d. This way, we will know not only how to grasp the true meaning of our lives; we\u2019ll also recognize those hidden patterns behind \u201cfalse truths\u201d, that inoculate ideas into our heads we don\u2019t even recognize as our own.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
