I deboli devono aspettarne lo sviluppo, i frutti e la morte.<\/p>\n

Ed \u00e8 una pianta che vive e cresce attraverso le et\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Essa fiorisce quando l\u2019uomo ha accumulato innumerevoli esistenze.<\/p>\n

Colui che vuole incamminarsi sul sentiero del potere deve strapparla dal suo cuore.<\/p>\n

Ed allora il cuore sanguiner\u00e0 e l\u2019intera vita dell\u2019uomo sembrer\u00e0 dissolversi totalmente.<\/p>\n

Questa prova dev\u2019essere affrontata; pu\u00f2 presentarsi al primo gradino della scala pericolosa che conduce al sentiero della vita; pu\u00f2 tardare forse fino all\u2019ultimo, ma, o discepolo, rammenta che dev\u2019essere superata e raccogli le energie della tua anima per tale compito.<\/p>\n

Non vivere nel presente o nel futuro, ma nell\u2019Eterno.<\/p>\n

Quella malerba gigantesca non pu\u00f2 l\u00e0 fiorirvi; questa macchia sull\u2019esistenza \u00e8 cancellata dall\u2019atmosfera stessa del pensiero eterno.<\/p>\n

Seek in the heart the source of evil and expunge it. <\/em><\/span>

And it is a plant that lives and increases throughout the ages. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It flowers when the man has accumulated unto himself innumerable existences. He who will enter upon the path of power must tear this thing out of his heart. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

And then the heart will bleed, and the whole life of the man seems to be utterly dissolved. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

This ordeal must be endured; it may come at the first step of the perilous ladder which leads to the path of life; it may not come until the last. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

But, O disciple, remember that it has to be endured, and fasten the energies of your soul upon the task. Live neither in the present nor the future, but in the Eternal. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

This giant weed cannot flower there; this blot upon existence is wiped out by the very atmosphere of eternal thought.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Such in dem Herzen die Wurzel des B\u00f6sen und rei\u00dfe sie aus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Denn es treibt und es wuchert im Herzen des eifrigen Ju\u0308ngers gleichwie in den Herzen der Kindern der Welt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nur der Starke vermag es zu t\u00f6ten. Der Schwache jedoch mu\u00df sein Wachstum erwarten, sein Reifen, sein Sterben.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durch Weltenalter w\u00e4chst dies Kraut im Menschen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es wuchert, doch in Blu\u0308te tritt es erst, wenn vieler Leben Unzahl er durchlaufen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wer der Beherrschung Weg betreten will, mu\u00df dieses Kraut aus seinem Herzen rei\u00dfen. Wohl wird alsdann das Herzblut reichlich flie\u00dfen, das ganze Leben wird vernichtet scheinen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Pru\u0308fung aber mu\u00df bestanden werden. Vielleicht tritt sie an dich heran schon bei dem ersten Schritt des wagnisvollen Klimmens hinauf zum Lebensweg, vielleicht beim letzten. Bedenke wohl: Sie mu\u00df bestanden werden, – und setze alle Kr\u00e4fte ans Vollbringen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicht in dem Augenblicke darfst du leben, nicht in der Zukunft, – nur im Ewigen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dort kann dies Riesenunkraut nicht gedeihen: der Hauch schon eines Ewigkeitsgedankens tilgt diesen Flecken aus von deinem Dasein.<\/span><\/p>\n
