Non dare agli uomini appoggio alla loro paura della morte, ma togliere loro questa paura; non dar loro la vita illusoria e i mezzi a che sempre ancora la chiedano<\/em>, ma dar loro la vita ora, qui, tutta, perch\u00e9 non chiedano: questa \u00e8 l’attivit\u00e0 che toglie la violenza dalle radici.<\/p>\n “Questo \u00e8 l’impossibile”.<\/p>\n Gi\u00e0: l’impossibile! Poich\u00e9 il possibilie \u00e8 ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 dato, il possibile sono i bisogni, le necessit\u00e0 del continuare, quello che \u00e8 della paura della morte, – quello che \u00e8 la morte nella vita, la nebbia indifferente delle cose che sono e non sono: il coraggio dell’impossibile \u00e8 la luce che rompe la nebbia, davanti a cui cadono i terrori della morte e il presente divien vita.<\/p>\n Che v’importa di vivere se rinunciate alla vita in ogni presente per la cura del possibile. Se siete nel mondo e non siete nel mondo, – prendete le cose e non le avete, mangiate e siete affamati, dormite e siete stanchi, amate e vi fate violenza, se siete voi e non siete voi.<\/p>\n Carlo Michelstaedter<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n * * *<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Not giving men support against their fear of death but\u00a0taking this fear away, not giving them illusory life and the\u00a0means of always demanding it but giving them life here and\u00a0now entirely so that they do not demand\u2014this is the activity\u00a0that eradicates the violence.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat is impossible.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Certainly: impossible! For the possible is what is given.\u00a0The possible are the needs, the necessities of continuing, what\u00a0is within the limited power directed to continuation, in fear of\u00a0death, what is death in life, the indifferent fog of things that are\u00a0and are not.
